Cancellation of MPC 2026

It is with great disappointment that we must confirm that the Meiringspoort Challenge has been cancelled due to the recent heavy rain and flooding.

​

The safety of our participants, supporters, and crew remains our highest priority. Large sections of the routes have been washed away, and parts of Meiringspoort have sustained severe damage, making it unsafe to continue with the event.​ Our hearts are heavy after all the preparation and excitement leading up to the challenge, but safety must come first.

 

Further communication regarding registrations, possible refunds, or the option to donate, will be shared soon.
